Rear lateral arm question

Noticed one of my lateral arms was bent(previous owner may have had the car towed at one point). Id like to take this opportunity to upgrade to better arms. My questions are 1.are the stock ones hollow or solid? 2. If they are hollow do companies like dorman or moog make solid ones? 3. Do 9c1 impalas have better arms then our cars?
Im not really interested in the bmr or umi arms. I know they are great but still too expensive imo. The w body store ones are more fairly priced, but I like to weigh my options. Any help is always appreciated.
Thanks

lateral arms are solid steel 4 of em, in parallel pairs, from the center cradle to the lower portion of the knuckles. the trailing arms are the ones from the unibody in front of the tires to the single point on the bottom of the knuckle

Yea, the lateral arms (the four arms from the crossmember to the knuckle) are the ones im talkin about. My passenger arm with the adjuster bolt is the one thats bent. Now to replace them do I have to drop the subframe or no? Through searching ive seen some say they had to drop the subframe and some say no. It looks like it varies as far as which wbody car you have, so where do grand prixs like my 01 fall into?

Here's the YouTube Video on how2 this one. It doesn't look like you have to completely remove the subframe, just unbolt it so it drops down and so you can get to the lateral arm bolts.

I got the both the trailing arms and the laterals from W Body Store, they are en route as we speak. Looks like I should get the car up on stands this weekend and start the PB Blaster treatments....also going with Vogtland springs. The BMR stuff looks to be top notch, but also very pricey. I like that the W Body guy is the same guy that owned Midwest SHO, I did some business with him back in the 90's when I had my SHO. That 24V Yamaha 3.2L was a work of art.

The W Body rear parts won't be here until next week, so this weekend I'm installing new front LCAs with Moog bushings and new inner/outer tie rods. Figured I may as well get it all done and pay one time for the alignment.
