Re-Painting my KYB AGX

Well my KYBs had some rust on them when I bought them. I'm probably going to pull them off this weekend or next in order to clean them up.

I'm curious of what I should do to clean up the rust and repaint them.

I'm guessing I should sand em down with sand paper to get rid of the rust and paint, then primer and re paint. Any good rust proof paints I can use that would be good for some strusts?

Any advice on this project would be appreciated! Thanks

yea I may go Bronze or Gold... I think my color scheme is going to be Medium Blue Metallic and Bronze.... I always liked the Subaru STi Blue with the Bronze BBS wheels... sexy
