Random stall when coming to a stop

When coming to a stop the engine dies. It seems to happen at random with no other noticeable symptoms. A few months ago I had a P0140 code so I replaced the oxygen sensor and drove it 500+ miles with no issues. I figured that was the cause, but I was driving today and it stalled twice within two blocks.

I just scanned for codes and it came up clear. After it stalls, it fires right back up on first crank. I'm thinking fuel pump resistor but wanted to see if anyone else has ideas on what I should check for.

'97 GTP with 130K miles.

does it stall, then the tach go to zero? MAF or fuel pump. Not resistor, that would be a stall at startup getting into heavy throttle, not just rolling to a stop. make sure the O2 harness isn't rubbing against something

or does the tach go to zero, then it stalls? crank position sensor

It happens so irregularly that I'm usually too caught off guard to notice the tach.

O2 wires are free and clear. The fuel pump was replaced a few years back so hopefully it's not that.

I will check out both of your suggestions and report back.
