• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

random rattling in my new front speakers

So I got and installed a set of kickers for the front not to long ago and damn they sounded beautiful... until the passangers side one started sounding like a 300 hundred pound man on the toilet after eating mexican food if I pumped the base too loud. the speaker isn't blown... any ideas as to the cause? I've been too lazy to take the door panel off and investigate it myself.

If the speaker only makes the sound when cranking the bass too loud have you thought of not turning up the volume to that point? The wonderful sound you are hearing is called distortion and your amp is clipping (not sending a clean signal). If you keep playing your music at these levels you will end up with a blown speaker and/or fried amp (if your using one). What are your gains set at and what HU are you using?
