Radio problems here..help

proud owner of 90 GP SE Coupe.....and boy am I glad I found you guys. Only58000 k on my baby, and completely stock, for now hehehe Any way I tried a tape in my player the other day and tape stuck. After prying it out with my knife :mad: I could not get deck to reset itself so radio would come back on. I was told the tape tray was stuck and would not reset and the closest repair person was in New Jersey:th_scratchhead:. Any ideas? stock radios seem impossible to find. Thank You
 


Yeah they are pretty hard to find. So the radio won't come on because the tape is still in correct? That sucks.

Have you tried ebay? Ar maybe the local junk yard? The raido's are usually the last things people want.
 
Actually the tape is out, the tray is stuck. Pressing eject only makes a clicking sound and gears are turning like a tape is playing. Hate to remove radio only because of the stock look. Thank You
 
Yeah i understand. Next time i see my buddy i'll ask him if he happens to still have the radio and maybe we can work something out by then if you have not gotten something figured out.
