radio isnt working but the button lights are on

Ok so yesterday i took the radio out of my 02 grand prix gt and tried to install an aftermarket radio long story short the power cord from the car was too small for the aftermarket radio so i went ahead and put the factory radio back in and mind you that the factory radio worked perfectly fine before this. I put it back in and then i turn on the car but the radio didnt start playing And then i turned on the lighta and all of the bittons on the radio lit up but the radio still wasnt doing anything and on top of that the lcd acreen was black..... so does anyone have any suggestions as to what happened?? Or what i can do to fix it?
 


I thought when a radio went lockdown the display would read "LOC"? I'd check the fuse in the fuse panel. Other than that might pull the radio again and make sure all the pins in the harness are tight. Maybe one back out when you reinstalled it.
