Racetronix fuel pump install problem

I bought a Racetronix pump and harness from PRJ and I was trying to install it tonight but it seems my car has had the fuel pump replaced with a non-factory basket. It has a "carter" sticker on the top of the module and the fuel pump is totally different. It does have a Walbro pump in it already too. What do I do? Should I try to get a factory FP module, can I modify what I have and make it work? Should I just put it back together and put it back in seeing as though the numbers on the Walbro that is already in it come up as a 255 replacement pump anyway....WTF?

It doesn't make sense that you have a 255 walbro in it already, and the racetronix doesn't fit..because that's a walbro 255 as well.

the racetronix is a drop in for the factory venturi setup, the carter replacement that was already in mine isnt a venturi style. Just went to the pick and pull and checked 3 different w- bodys, couldnt find one with a venturi. Were GTP's the only one that had one? I checked a 98 Riv w/supercharger, 99 3.1 Century and a 99 Olds Intrigue w/3.8 na

I don't know what all cars had them, but 97-00 GTP's should have them. And, the 01's with metal tanks should also have them. GT's didn't get venturi's to my knowledge.

I believe Regal GS's are about the same way.

Morads got one listed on Ebay.....for $75 used....****ing crooks. I wont buy it from them just on principle. What a bunch of ****ing losers.

Email them for a quote and tell them your from clubgp, they may go lower. Or just tell them you need a venturi style bottom half w/o the pump and see what they have.

No kidding...they jack up their prices on Ebay because they know people will pay it. Email them, and it will more than likely be cheaper.
