Raced my GTP against some chick in a Volvo

The contenders: Volvo V70 T5, '98 GTP

Lined up and went twice on the highway from a 20 roll. The GTP pulls hard but once that Volvo got going, I was feeling a bit, um, left behind.


Chick was hot, too!!!!



Ok, in all seriousness, Here's the car. It's a '98 V70 T5 Manual, with iPD tune, and some other very minor mods. It was my wife driving. We were on our way home from picking up the GTP. The GTP gets it pretty good off the line, but once the Volvo spools up its turbo, it just pulls like a scalded dog.

It depends on what model S60. There is a 190hp version and a 240hp version. The 240hp is in the T5 and R cars.

Because it's faster than most Wbodys on here I'd bet from a roll...it's a 5-spd, it has top end...it is RWD...Oh, and it can fit more dead hookers in it than a WBody.

In short.

It wins.

With a wife, 2 kids, and a big mutt, it works better than anything else offered. It's also very comfortable, tows my popup camper, and smokes the doors off all the ricers, all while looking completely invisible in the eyes of the police, and getting 28+mpg.

That, and I've always liked the way Volvos look. Odd, yet interesting.
 
You would have a bunch of dead hookers blue lol. Have you guys seen the new s60? One word..... Sick.
