quick 1 HID question

iv already installed an HID kit on my yamaha R6.. absolutley love it 6000K color temp and wicked bright with the stock R6 projectors.

Iv seen that it requires a bit of modification if you wanna run the kit with highs and lows.

So if i just wanna buy a low beam 9007 kit. 2 bulbs two ballasts and a relay what sort of modificaton will i have to do??? i figure that should almost be plug and play...
 


Your better off getting the 9007 kit it has the high and low beam so you will pass inspection, even though the high beam is pointless. Pretty straight foward install as well. Got mine from zzp, no complaints besides the instrutions are only good for wipping your arse.

All aftermarket HID's are illegal.


Odds are you won't get pulled over for it though. If you want to pass any state inspection just get the low beam HID kit and put your stock halogen lights back in when inspection time comes.
 
Usually people get pulled over for having something stupid like 8000k+ HIDs which are too blue and make it obvious for police. If you stay 6000k or below you should be fine.
