Question about rear spoiler for 1997-2003 GP GT Coupe

I have a 2000 GP GT Coupe that has the factory spoiler on it. I just bought a spoiler off e-bay minutes ago off a 2003 Limited Edition car. The spoiler I bought does not sit flush on the trunk it mounts and there is space between the bottom of the spoiler and the trunk lid.

Spoiler was made that way.

Question to you guys is:

Will this spoiler mount in the same holes I already have in my trunk?

I know the ones off the 2002 40th cars do not bolt directly in or maybe they do but they leave two holes uncovered that my original spoiler needed.

It might, but I don't know exactly.

The trunk is going to need to be repainted though, no way the paint under the stock spoiler is in good condition.

I think I have read that the 03 LE spoiler you have will bolt right on to any Grand Prix with the stock spoiler you have. I have an 01 special edition with the NASCAR style spoiler and I just picked up an 03 limited edition spoiler a few weeks ago. Gonna buy a different trunk lid and see if it will drop on.
