Question about Borla

I have flowmaster super 44 on my 04 grand prix and hate the drone and people said to switch to Borla Pro XS do these mufflers drone at all ?
 


No, because they aren't chambered.

If you don't have a resonator, get one.

That'll take care of all the drone even if you don't have a cat.

I had no resonator and Borla XS's; the drone was brutal. Threw in a stock resonator and I have my sanity back.
 
I honestly even had flowmasters at one point...and they were pretty quiet with a stock resonator as well.

That's why I always tell people the res is the key to a proper exhaust tone...even though basically everything 3800 sucks.
 
I just replaced my cat because the stock was shot and it seemed to me that it was droning like crazy with the bad cat since I got it replaced it is some what better and I have the stock resonator still on was thinking about replacing that to with a glasspack was talking to the shop that did my mufflers and they said that would help with the drone
 


The stock resonator is the best option for the least amount of noise.

Been there, done that.

It's your muffler choice, not the res.
