Putting a GTP in my 01' impala

After Winter I am going to be putting a supercharged 3.8 GTP in my 01' impala. I would also like to do a 5speed swap with it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of job I am getting myself into.
 


A ****load of work.

One thing for sure is good luck finding a transmission that is in mint condition or make sure you have an extra laying around if the first one doesnt work out. As far as I know, they do not make replacement parts for the getrag 5 speed that you'd need to swap in there.


Read around on some of the threads here and you'll see some of the hell they went through. I know some have done it right and with good results but it's alot of custom fab work for sure.
