Put a '94 3100 into '88 Grand Prix?

[1988 Grand Prix]

I am in the process of getting a 1994 3100 out of a Chevy Corsica to put in my '88 coupe. I've talked to some other guys on another forum and they are saying that I would have to do some modifications to make the 3100 fit. Is this true?
I thought that the motor mounts were the same for all '88-96 Grand Prix.
