Purple tint removal....

so i have had my gtp for about a month now and it has nasty purple tint that is all cloudy in the back window. my question is, is there a safe way of just peeling it off with out damaging the defrost lines on the window, or should i just leave it to the pros. thanks for the help.

i would say let the pros do it..its a bit of a pain to do yourself..just my opinion though

Use a steamer. I had the same problem when I bought my current GTP and a steamer took it off pretty easily. Use acetone or an adhesive remover like Goof-Off to clean up any remaining adhesive.

soak the back window in windex, water w/e and cover the inside window (seal it with tape) with a black garbage bag and let it sit in the sun. Peels like a banana, or falls off its choice.
