So, of coarse, another noob question. All I want to know is where to find the cheapest 3.4 pully. I don't have a pully remover or anything, I am not sure what kind to get. I have looked on zzp and i can't figure out which one to get. So any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

which kind you looking at? press on or mps? i go with zzp 3.4 mps and don't forget to buy the hub too

See, I have no clue. I don't know what the advantages are, just something easy, i guess is what i am saying. I mean, something that I will not have to take off the supercharger.

What are your supporting mods? You can't just slap on a 3.4" pulley, you need intake, exhaust work, plugs, pcm work and a few other small mods to make the 3.4" pulley safe for your car...

You will need access to one of these. ZZ Performance

And this is the pulley system although judging by your cheapest comment I would go no smaller than a 3.5 or better yet a 3.6 ZZ Performance

And of course you'll need a 660 one of these ZZ Performance

And you really shouldn't do any of these things without one of these.

my first mod all i have were 3.4 thrasher pulley, thrasher cai, pcm and 180* tstat. i don't remember running into kr. i run that same mods for 1.5 year. i don't see him having problem running 3.4 pulley with what mods he have. don't get me wrong it would good idea to get a scanner to be safe.

Most will NOT be able to do a 3.4 and only limited support mods without knock. I was only able to run a 3.4 after headers, 1.9 rockers, 180*, Wizaired. Still had to run rich to pull it off though. I would have been faster with a 3.5 and leaner AFR. However, I've always had a scanner/tuner and have kept an eye on things through all of my different stages.

In the long run...ZZP makes the most cost effective and most choice available pulley system. Get the Modular system, it makes pulley changes less than 5 minutes. You could get you a stock size, and then say get a 3.6. I know that the sizes don't sound like they would make a big difference, but you would be very surprised at the difference between a stock and 3.6

x2!

k, so you think just with my supporting mods that I should just go with a 3.6 or 3.5? Is that worth the $200 you think? (puller and modular pully system)

Get a used MPS w/Pulley from the "For Sale" areas on our vast amount of forums...
$40-$60 most likely

Find someone with a puller, buy him a case of beer, help him hold tools while he swaps your pulley with the MPS Hub...

Call it a day
Even if you need to buy a 2nd pulley, used, looking $40 more at max?

So, $55-$125...

^^^ that is the way to go and save money. Spring is rolling around and there may even be a local mod day come up near you. Once you have the MPS hub installed there should never be a reason to remove it.
