Pulley or belt chirping noise on start up or cold

I recently did my power steering pump and when I tried to loosen the tensioner, it was really hard too. We put It all together, and started it up and it makes a annoying chirping noise. Any ideas?

take the belts back off and hand spin all the pulleys. your looking for one that dont spin freely or feels gritty when turned.

if you dare you can also reach in car running belt on, and touch the bolt of each pulley, idler and tensioner's only. when bad they feel like a grinding vibration, a good one feels smooth.

be very careful, you dont want to lose a finger.

I spun all the pulleys and the idler pulley spun smoothly but stop right away

The alternator spun for a long time smoothly but I did hear a little chirp but nothing major
