Pulley drop! ..Due for a fuel system upgrade?

Check Sig for current mods to my 97 Regal GS. I am considering going intercooled in the near future, Of course I would get a full size, and presumably it would be to my benefit to drop pulley size again. I am thinking I will be able to get away with a 3.25 (also convenient because I have one laying around...), Question is, will I need to upgrade any part of my fuel system when I go intercooled, get a smaller pulley, and get my tune adjusted? I know the nooby thread says bigger injectors when any smaller then 3.1, but I dont think I will be able to go that small, or will I? What do you think I should anticipate? rewire kit? fuel pump upgrade? bigger injectors?

97's seem to already have the thicker wire instead of the cheaper thinner wire that gm started to use and save money with on 98+ cars. So a rewire kit shouldn't be needed.

I guess you'll just have to see what the car does. You may need injectors, you may not. If they end up running static then yeah you'll want them. But I don't see a huge increase in fuel usage by doing the mods you want to do.

Good thing is that I already have some 42.5's laying around. Just wasnt sure if I will need to use them. Is there any negative affect of just putting them in even if they arent needed?

Also, isnt .2-.3 pulley size drop about what people can usually anticipate from a full size intercooler?

You should be okay with the stock stuff.
Run it and see what happens. If you're maxing the injectors, put the bigger ones in.
