I have been hearing projector(Halo) headlights are very well know for breaking. Most of the time the housing cracking is this true? thanks for the help in advance.
 


the brackets are very cheap and flimsy. i wasted my 350$ when i bought them on the clubgp group buy. i now run black ebay housings with my stock brackets from GM and 8k hids
 
the stock ebay lights are the same as the stock GM ones, so the brackets interchange. they DO NOT interchange on the projectors!!!
 
I'm using the brackets that came with the lights and have had no problems.
I did tweek them a bit when they arrived before the install, but I have no issues with them, I even changed the H1 bulbs yesterday and they are fine.
Some people say they bounce but that can be fixed, mine don't bounce and they don't leak either like the stock lights do.
The light output is way better than the stockers are even without the HID upgrade.
This is a Mod....look at all the people who have problems making headers seal the first time, but they still buy them and b*tch about the install.
Sure there are things you can do to help eliminate the bounce and what not but they are a lot cheaper than when I bought mine. You can even get the HID upgade with the projectors for less than $200.00
