• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Project: "Red Devil"

Red Devil

Here's the run down. I've been modding w-body's for about 6 year's now. I bought this car back in 2005 when I was in highschool and wanted nothing to do with it, but it fit the bill and was a low mile car that I could afford.I grew up on a dairy farm and wanted a truck so a farm boy with a fwd w-body was not cool at all but At that time the only thing I could afford was this car. So I bought it and slowly started to fall in love with it. It went from being somthing I hated to a true passion. It's seen everything from mild to wild. 1st Build was a pretty basic 1.9 \ short stack intercooled set up which got me hooked. Not even a month later the car was demoded and was built with an xp cam and supporting mods and cranked out a an nice 332whp at ZZP. After about 20,000 miles a intercooler pump failed and due to this it spun a few rod bearings and took out the bottom end. So I picked up a low mile L32 and set up to build the crazyest build I could while still using a Stock Gen 3 M90.. The after math of that build turned out to be a final compression of 9:9:1, XPZ Cam, fully worked heads, Intercooler and Nitrous along with the rest of the odd's and ends. It netted me a number of 11 sec passes with out spray with the stock gen 3 but still left me wanting much more. So I demoded the car once again after a summer of use and Started on my quest to build in my eye's the "Devil's Car". It's under the knief as we speak with many huge upgrade's and changes so I'll be using this to follow the build intill it's finshed. Thing's wont happen over night so don't be shocked if this carry's on for months. Look for random updates with photo's, build details and so on as work is performed.

holy crap well good luck to you with everything. whose doing your tune?

Thanks, Tim, Matt and the rest of the ZZP Crew will be doing a major part of the leg work tune wise seeing how I've never messed with E85 and this turbo stuff is pretty new to me still. I'm looking forward to seeing some number's out of this car.

As we speak I'm waiting on my ZZP Aluminum Heads, Should have them some time next week and then expect some updates then.

look like this is a no budget build. I cant wait to see the car put together and see what kind of #s and times you get! Goodluck. Should see 11s easy.

Well...if you feel like donating me money to buy a house out here...feel free...

LOL

Looks like a great build you have going on, can't wait to see the results.

It was a full weight 11 sec car on it's last motor combo with no suspenison work with an M90 and no spray. So it better just skip 11's and be well into the 10's or better... If not... :th_doh:

Wish I could be of help on the whole house thing but I'm far from having a money Tree in my back yard. I'm just lucky enough to have a great job at a young age and no family to support besides my self. Only debt I have is my house thank gosh.

Thanks for all the postive feed back everyone.

Wow, that is a serious build. Can't wait to see the pics :)

Thanks!

what part of mi you from?

I'm in the very southwest of the state, as southwest as you can be.

What about yourself?

Well it's been a busy weekend.. I was able to pick up my head's on Firday and all I can say is pure sex.. Amazing! You can pretty much handle the heads with your pinkys they are that much lighter then cast heads they really are an amazing item. Sunday I was able to pick up a forged short block. Aside from getting things picked up this weekend, I got a good freind of mines XPZ'ed L36 build finshed. If all works out this week I might be able to get a little wrench time in with the car.. So time will tell.
