normal for the rpms to stay so low at this speed? - YouTube

I included a video I took tonight this is me getting on the interstate the rpms wont go past 2rpm and im going 70mph. What could be causing this?

A little history on what ive gone through with the car prior to this problem^:
At first when my car over heated going up a mountain it turned out I blew a head gasket so I had that replaced along with the spark plugs and wires. There was also like a knocking around noise which tured out to be the super charger coupling that needed to be replaced so I replaced it. But about a week after that my service engine light came back on and when I took the car to autozone so they could get the code it was the cylinder 3 misfire but they told me that that could be a number of things.

I had two different guys (not professionals just guys that work on cars for people and dont charge as much for labor) look at it and one told me it was my pistons were messed up and the other told me it was the valves. I dont know a whole lot about cars (im a girl) and dont really have the money to take it to a real shop so at this point im just going to buy a whole new motor and just take care of everything at once because im tired of spending money on it over and over again. Is there a way my dad and I can check to see if it is for sure either the pistons or the ones of the valves with out taking out the whole motor? Like a certain noise it would be making or driving? anything? Help me out guys So I wont have to buy the entire motor. oh and let me know what you think about the video i put a link to too please, thank you.

welcome to GPF. i know a bit about cars but your question would be better posted in the engine forums (your motor is l67) the tech guys look there alot more then in the introduction thread. :D

do a compression test on front middle cylinder, frist place to start

lots of things can cause a misfire, so your engine might be fine,
