• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! I've gotten two emails saying that I have private messages, but when I check, there are none ?
 


can someone send me a pm, so I can see if I get it...please..?
 
Thank you, I got the email saying that I have one....but no pm's in the box
 


Clicked on that and got this. There are no messages to display. Try a different search
 
Go to settings:
http://www.grandprixforums.net/usercp.php



Then scroll down until you see these settings - make sure that your private messaging is on, and that you are receiving messages from all members.
I would think if you're getting emails, than your private messaging is on, but it's worth a shot.

Private Messaging

  • Private Messaging:
    • Private Messaging on
    • Private Messaging off
    This forum features a private messaging system, which allows members to send messages to one another privately.

    If you do not want to send or receive private messages, you may disable the private messaging system.
  • Receive Private Messaging:
    • Only from Contacts and Moderators
    • From all members

everything is set up to get private messages....
 
hm, interesting.

i looked through your profile settings and everything seems to be in order. you should be receiving PMs the same as the rest of us.

well, that's no good.

i looked over your statistics and it said you have sent one PM, but none received. that's weird because i'm showing i sent you one in my profile. you're also a full memeber, not waiting for approval or anything. it looks as though you've been receiving visitor messages just fine, too.

i'm befuddled on this one.

Thanx for looking into it again, I appreciate it!...I just got an email saying that I had another pm from the member that I sent the original one to, but nothing in the inbox...again..?
