Hello everyone. I had an 08 GXP previous account was ShadowGXP, sold that car and I just purchased this 01 GTP (No Car Payment!!!) I'm located in Reno, NV.
This car was a trade in at Muscle Motors and I purchased it off Craigslist from a cool guy that works for them and bought it for his personal use.
I was curious if anyone recognizes this car already?

Someone spent a lot of money on it. It has a Thrasher Intake, Headers, Full magnaflow Exhaust, Smaller Pulley with Tune.

I always enjoy this forum cuz it saves so much time troubleshooting when all the answers are usually previously posted on here.
So with that said, here comes my first issue.
SES light is coming on and off. The common EVAP code. New gas cap settled it for a few days, But from time to time it comes back on.
Another issue I'm having which I believe is related to this, I'm having issues filling up. I can't go a dollar in gas without it burping and stopping the pump.
I was curious if these cars have common issues with the filler neck possible cracking or having issues?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks everyone

That's gotta be the canister in the rear bumper. Same exact thing happened to me in my gt. No problems after I changed that and checked the hoses that went to it.

Thanks for the welcome. So I replaced the evap canister which I found out is on the back of the supercharger.
The car is still doing the same issue with burping while trying to fill.
So process of elimination I'm guessing its the solenoid by the gas filler door or a crack in a hose?
Thanks for you're input, definitely saves time troubleshooting
