Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

okay guys so heres whats going on, i had my transmission rebuilt, now the dudes trying to screw me over. before you say anythign about take it back, or go to court, thats all in the making. the issue is the torque converter staying locked up ALL the time. no change with brake pedal, stays locked on upshifts, and stays locked when comign to a stop causing the engine to severely bog down. apparently this dude thought my pcm was bad, so i replaced it with a zzp pcm off a guy on the forum, still no change. according to the douchebag that built my trans. pin 63 (yellow wire) on the pcm is suppose to have 12 volts coming out with the key on. i am however showing no voltage out of this pin, ran a switched 12v from the battery to the wire and have no change. does anyone have a suggestion as to what this could be? or if this wire is suppose to in fact have 12 volts with key on. thanks for any help you might be able to provide

fuse, or harness itself? i unplugged the 20 pin connector and it stalled as soon as it was put in any gear but 1st on the selector. unpluged tcc fuse and same result, stalled in gear ranges but in 1st manually

i think im a little lost, the only harness itself going into the trans i see is the 20 pin connector right under the crossover. i unplugged this and as i said it stalled immediately if not put manually into first gear.

oh ok, my b
then i would say that its a problem inside the trans thats locked up keeping the converter engaged, not a electral problem

no biggy, and im just sick of gettin screwed around by this guy so im tryin to be sure before i have it taken back, or somewhere else. i notice too when i take off from a stop nad leave it manually in first it will shift into second but wont "engage" unless the selector is out in second if that makes sense. rpms drop but when selector is moved to 2nd it slams into gear

yeah someone doesnt know how to build a trans, they have it messed up internaly,
i wouldnt drive it incase its wonts to explode while your driving, but if you have to thats a different story, keep on them about taking them to court, most of the time theyll give in before they let it go that far

When you unplug the trans connector you are ending up with no pressure modulation from the EPC and third gear only. All your gear controls except third are power controlled. Therefore you aren't going to get squat except issues with that connector unplugged for the most part.

I'm unsure about the stalling issue you are mentioning.

If the converter is staying locked with the connector unhooked that sounds valve body/converter related.

If this guys ia a trans guy, then he should have the equipment to take the pcm out of the loop and run the trans manually with an added box that helps him diagnose.

im ognna take it to cottman or aamco wednesday, have it diagnosed and rebuilt again if neccesary or have whatever done that needs to be done. then take this guy to court and get reimbursed
