Power locks acting up

Just wondering if anyone knows why the locks won't lock or unlock when shifting in and out of park. Heres what has happened, both have always worked correctly up until 4 months ago. First the unlocking of the doors shifting into park stopped working. Soon after, shifting into and out of park would not lock or unlock the doors. Maybe about 3 weeks ago both ways started working how it should, locking and unlocking. That lasted for a week or so. Now its back to only locking when I shift out of park. I can't figure it out or why its not working right. Its not a big deal but sort of annoying because I'm so used to it. I had a 97 gp and sold it in 03 to get a 03 gp. So thats about 13 years of it working that way. Im so used to it I forget and everytime I park and pull my key out, I go to open the door and get annoyed that the door is still locked. lol

If anyone know what I should look at or what could be happening I would appreciate the help.

didn't even think about the fuse because it does work shifting out of park, just not into. I will check the fuse anyway to either rule it out or fix it, thanks
