got hptuners and a 2000 gtp...question is what can keep a gtp from going into pe mode. about 10% that i floor the pedal my tranny downshifts, i accelerate, but i dont get that kick. im assuming im not entering pe mode. so what causes this since i have no knock and the car is running great. also what is all the other charts under pe and accel enrich in tptuners? i understand the afr tables that determine afr per tps and the hot enable but the rest is over my head. do the rest of the tables need adjusted and will this solve a pe hot problem?
 


The PE table has nothing to do with how the transmission detents into a lower gear, but to answer your question, you need to look into the PE vs TPS table, (or something to that nature) I don't memorize the layout of the programs, so I can't just pull it out of my head.
 
no i got that one...that and the afr tables are the only ones i understand..its the rest of them that i dont have a clue about. and the tranny downshifts fine.
