Powder Coating Brakes

Coming this summer I want to get my brakes PC'd, but I'm not completely familiar with the brakes on this platform quite yet. I'm assuming the piston/seals will need to be removed since they'll be baked. What is the best method to remove these? Also, on the e-brakes, how difficult is this contraption to remove? Or am I better off just "taping" it off?

Any other tips or recommendations would be much appreciated! Thanks!

The piston and seals just pull right out. I used a welding clamp (basically a Channel-lock with flat clamping area instead of teeth) to pull the piston out. I just recently powdercoated a set of calipers I had, very simple to do.

Edit: I also coated my brackets and the inside part of the piston too, as they tend to rust.

I've been thinking about upgrading but I haven't done enough research to know what I'd be getting myself into or even finding a decent deal on some. Power coating will be done for free, just need to buy the powder ;)

Fbody upgrade is worthwhile and pretty cheap or go big or go home and get ctsv.. But check out the big brake thread under the suspension/brake section.

If you dont wanna mess with f-bodies, 06+ impala calipers with brackets are a complete bolt on.

Prismatic powder they are online there power is great price is cheap quality and selection awesome
