Well here they are! I did all the prep work myself. Due to the clear coat, and paint on the inside of the spokes the wheels had to be stripped. I used aircraft stripper and ALOT of time with a wire wheel and sandpaper!! They were pre-baked for an hour to burn off any grease/moisture, and to allow outgassing to occur. They were coated with Ink Black and i think they turned out wonderful!! It made such a huge difference in the appearance of the car. 20% tint next week cant wait!

look nice . what did they get your for the 4 rims ?

Well about $16 for stripper, $5 for sandpaper, and $17 for 2 lbs of ink black powder. about $38 total :) did them myself, me and my hubby have a small powder coating operation.

For what we have invested in building the oven, compressor, blast cabinet(wish it was ready when i did my wheels), and powder coating equipment its going to take alot of rims to pay off but its a hobby of ours. and makes for a good excuse to powdercoat EVERYTHING :)

Thanks for all the comments everyone, i think they look great too! Check us out on facebook at No Coast Custom Coatings in brookings, sd

Thats pretty standard for around here too. You see 80-100 alot. For a single stage color(no clear, translucent, etc.) I would do them for 45 a wheel. Where would you have to ship from?

shipping could get spendy real fast im afraid. If you could get it here and back for a reasonable price it may be worth it. Our zip is 57006, but will be relocating to 57445 soon
