Are you considering buying it? I personally wouldn't buy a modded car unless it was cheap and I didn't mind throwing money into or I knew who modded it. $11k for a potential money pit with that many miles...no thank you

I would have to agree. Seems risky and for that price I would hate myself if it was a money pit due to previous owners modifications.

Its my fathers car and we did most of the work except the cam. It was done at a shop he trusts which is rare for him. kbb on it is 11 with all that's been done i think it might be worth it.

Mods don't add to the blue book price. It's up to the potential buyer to decide if they're willing to pay more for the mods or not. It's up to you it's your money not others so don't let us decide for you.

Matt makes another good point. The trans will be a money pit and lord knows Chrysler isn't exactly known for their bullet transmissions.

I know they don't add to the kbb. Whats the Theory on the Trans? the only problem he had out of it, funny story.... fall of 2010 he had a squirrel found its way through the skid plates and it chewed the transmission wiring harness. Unbelievably a $500 deductible later and the insurance co. had it fixed. When he got it back it he had back for a week and the d**n things did it again... lmfao... he was needless to say upset. They didn't charge him the second time so he spent the money on a gammo 1200fps pellet gun to take care of the problem...
squirrels don't even look at his yard anymore after taking out about 8 in the area

also the motor was rebuilt at the time of the cam exchange at 86,xxx miles. new gaskets and main seals f & r dry as a bone and has yet to leak anything since it was purchased in 08

It usually doesn't hold up to higher power levels and abuse. Kinda like most automatics in the history of the automobile.

Though it seems there are some that are getting by just fine.

I'd never trust a non-built transmission, even a manual. Reality is, they all break when abused.
