My girlfriend's 2006 GP is having heat issues. With car warmed up, heater set to floor heat, temperature set to hot, it blows out cold air. If you move it to defrost, it blows hot air. Checked blend doors by moving temp from cold to hot and back. Can hear them closing on both settings. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 


Dexcool the stuff GM uses can gunk up your heater core. I would have the system flushed. Something similar happened to me and a coolant flush restored the heater to normal. If you have over 100k miles on it, it's due for it. Try that and see if it resolves your problem.
