Porting TB & Intake



im taking this for the 01 gt,i had mine done along with 1.9 split ratio rockers and headers,yes, there will a big diffrence,get rid of the u-bend behind the cat also,i did headers,a 8 inch flex pipe,hi flow cat and left the rest of the exaust stock,you can get a dhp 1.0 dhp also,i have one here if you want it
 
Porting the Intake? Like the LIM? Probably wouldn't see much. And porting does give really that much of a horsepower gain...it is just for throttle response...it is when you UPGRADE TB's that you see a little HP gain, but still not much...I would be surprised if I saw 5 whp from my LS1. Reptile does a awesome job at porting and could probably hog out the lower intake too if you wanted him to do so...shoot him a PM ;) He has done a lot of work for my car...and it is worth it :th_thumbsup-wink:
