Popping noise in rear?? HELP

When I hit bumps the passenger side rear makes a couple 'popping' sounds. (sounds like passenger side, at least)

Havent gotten around to looking (to cold)
It started doing this maybe a month ago...

Was wondering if anybody had any sugestions.

You live in Virgina and are saying too cold? Wuss, get under the car.

It's likely a sway bar end link, spring, or strut mount.

Link pins in these do go bad often. easy to check. get down and try to move it up and down at base of sway bar (at link).if it makes a noise...BINGO!!

Check the lower control arm :th_angry2: I went crazy looking for that same type of noise could not find any noise when up on a rack everything looked good finally checked with car on the ground the front bolt to the body had come loose.

How many miles are on the car.

Most likely the strut mounts. I had the same problem, popping/clunking noise when going over bumps.
