Poping sound when you turn

Well i know its not a grand prix but it is a pontiac lol... my girlfriends dads car is a 2000 grand am and when you take turns it makes a hollow poping sound any ideas... i got to fix it tommarow lol
 


Check the lower control arms at the bushings connecting them to the subframe. My poping sound is from the front bushing being seperated. It only does it on right hand turns since it is on the passenger side.
