poping noise when breaking in 2008 GP base

When I am going to come to a complete stop, the car is slowing down with steady breaking pressure... when it gets to about 1 MPH left to slow down, all the sudden I hear a pop noise coming from what I think is the front right wheel. I don't think anything comes from the rear, and I don't think I hear anything from the left front. it's almost like something slipped or something and popped...

front brakes were just replaced and the noise is still there...

any idea what causes this? if I do a sudden fast stop it doesn't pop, only when its a slow stop... bad CV joint? caliper problem?

Control arm bushings and wear to the aluminum subframe are likely culprits. Check those out.
