pontiac symbol debadge

so im thinking of debadging my white two door gtp i think it will look good but who knows the main thing ive been considering is popping out the front pontiac symbol on the bumper and filling it in probably with some sort of plastic bonding body crap. and obviously painting the bumper and clearing it afterwards. basically so it looks like nothing was ever there. and while i was cleaning snow off yesterday i thought about whiting out the black grills........ so im asking for opinions, pics, tips, ideas, jokes whatever........ but seriously jokes are welcome, any joke. dont forget opinions and pics tho id like them too, ideas..... meh

Well, I replaced my front bumper a few months ago after I hit a monster possum doing 70mph...

I was doin 70..not the possum..XD

Anyways, once I had my bumper painted..it seriously looked ****ed up without the front emblem on....it ties the whole bumper together.

I debadged the trunk, and I think it looks way better..same with the sides..

If you do decide to remove the front emblem, fill it in, paint it, clear it, and get an Arrow head overlay from Reflective Concepts. That's what I did...and it looks killer.

there are a couple members here that have bumpers like that, jakewet and shawngtp, but i think he sold his and it was an aftermarket kit. they looked pretty good. personally i like the arrowhead. if you're lucky enough to find pictures of bio's piece of sexiness, he had a forest green one that was just missing the arrowhead. the space wasnt filled in. i'd probably leave the grills black too, but that's just me

Most of the cheaper aftermarket bumpers don't have the arrowhead space in them. Do some searching and you should be able to find a few pictures of them.

good call i just finished checking their pics out i think i like it

I did the same thing while brushing off the snow from my last white GP..." I wonder what it'd look like with white grills?" I spayed em white and changed em back a few days later. Looked goofy as chit. But to each their own, doesnt hurt to try it. Its easy enough to change em back.

l like the no arrow head bumpers :) i want a bumper without pontiac in the back then my car will say absolutely nothing on it.

on oem replacement bumpers the indentation is not there

i may take mine off, but i kinda like it..
although i sprayed mine black with taillight tint :)

IMO I would leave it. I would go ReflectiveConcepts and get an overlay in White with a black trim/background that would look killer imo and get your rear inlay in white with reflec dome and it would tie together better than you think. and that way with the black background it would tie in with the grills and your lower bumper.

A couple pics I have laying around of my car. Aftermarket bumper with no arrowhead insert. It actually fit really well, as you can see.
