Pontiac Grand Prix firewall

Hello together
Have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and I'm confused...
Searching for a hole in the firewall. Found one on the passenger site and one on the driver site.
On the driver site you can go in but after 10cm theres another metal wall .... no way to go in!
Where are the holes to the inside? Need it for cables and more for some gauges.
Or how can I use te driver side hole to come in ?

I'll have to check when I go to the junkyard this weekend, but I remember it's very high up and hard to reach because it's behind your dash and above your steering column. I don't think you can see it, but the metal wall you are referring to is the back of the dash support. There's not a lot of clearance back here, but you might be able to stick your hand behind the dash and reach a wire you poke through. I've always used the passenger side as it's much easier to get to, then just route the wires behind the dash that way.

I ran a 14ga wire through the firewall, just below and beside the booster (to the left of the booster, when looking at it from the front of the vehicle). No problems, just pushed the wire through then grabbed it from under the dash.
