Hi this is my first post as I have experienced 1st time car issue.
I have Pontiac grand Am SE 2000 with 2.4 ltr engine.
I did not change the oil on time and now the car is making noise when giving gas, it start fine and runs fine till 20 miles/hr but after that
the engine starts shaking and a noise from driver side comes and i have to release gas paddle and give gas again in order to increase speed everytime.
Sometimes the staring wheel also get locked on turns.
I have no engine check light on , no lights on on the dash board, I have taken the car to pep boys and they said I need to replace engine .
But i dont trust them , so anyone with similar issue here. ?
