• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

It's a 2 day event. The show is actually on Sunday but a majority of people are there Saturday for all the other fun and activities. We went last year and it was a blast. You can see pictures from last year on my facebook page and look at some on the site. Here is their site with more information. Anyone near us that wants to convoy let me know!

If anybody wants to come down on Friday night, the local dragstrip (which is only a 1/8th mile) Mid America Motorplex will be having "Friday Night Street Drags" with the gate open at 5 and racing from 6 pm - 11 pm. It costs $20 to run and $10 to spectate.

The strip is on the way to Omaha. If you are taking I-80 towards Omaha, take I-29 to the Glenwood exit (exit #35), and turn right (west). At the stop sign, turn left (south) onto 190th Street, go about 1 mile to Jesup Ave. and turn left, the track will be on your left.

Address to the track is:
19340 Jesup Ave.
Pacific Junction, IA 51561

***This is pending the Missouri river not rising enough to flood the area, which is a possibility at this point.

sounds great man should be lots of fun this year and Explicit_Spade your not to leave the hotel again lol

The local track is still looking like its going to be closed, but they should have some idea later this week.

August 20th is also the StarCityRacing.com cruise, so that will be a good time if you are wanting to go there. Here is the facebook event link and info:

WHO:All Car enthusiasts
WHAT:Dinner, Meet & Greet, & Cruise
WHEN:Saturday August 20th. Event Starts at 8:00.
WHERE:Lee's Chicken. West Van Dorn & Cottington. By Pioneers park.
WHY:To meet new people. Look at some great cars. Enjoy a beautiful night cruising and that's it.

First things first. BE RESPECTFUL! No Burnouts. No Reving. No bumping your stereo. No littering. Basicly use comon sense and act like an adult.

Lee's is graciously sponsoring this event again. We have the party room booked. I'd encourage everybody to come in and eat as well or at least have a drink.

There lot will fit over 100 cars. Use the grass as needed.

Here is the basic idea for the night.
Schedule:

8:00: Dinner inside Lee's

9:30: Meet & Greet in the parking lot.

10:15ish: Cruise!

12:00: (After cruise route is complete) We'll discuss this at the event..

And most importantly, here is the cruise route. Its basicly the same as last year with a slightly different starting route that goes outside the city more. Pretty easy to follow, but study it hard so you don't get lost. lol. We plan on doing 1 lap. End up on the south side of town when were done.

wow i don't know about doing both cruises i would rather do the pontiac one and then do some swimming and drinking at the hotel lol
