plug wires

i was putting new plugs in my car the other day and i went to take the last plug out and the inside of the wire stuck to the plug as the wire was in my hand. so i figured while im at it i might as well change the wires to.. i read something about bigger wires like 10.5mm but im not sure if that will make a difference or not. any input?

10.5 mm wires are a waste of $. Biggest id go is 8 mm. 10.5s can actually CAUSE a misfire. Really the stock style 7mm are enough.....

I picked up a set of MSD universal 8-cly 8.5mm wires for $70 at Autozone. 8 wires with boots, that you can cut to length with the tool provided and crimp on the coil end, and you have 2 extra wires if one goes bad.
