hey guys, im gonna do a tune up on my 97 gp 3800 and i was wondering wut ones to use. i was gonna get the autolite double platinum app606 plugs, but was wonderin wut u guys thought? but im not payin 7 bucks a plug for the delcos.
 


im thinkin about gettin the delcos just cuz i get 20 percent off anyway :th_thumbsup-wink: but its still a lot of dough. are those autolites good in these cars tho?

if you are referring to the aforementioned double platinums, they should be fine, but for some reason, those copper plugs run the best in our engines...they just don't last as long...
 
wuts so great about the copper plugs? and i dont wunna change the plugs every 20k miles. they are a ***** to do lol.
 


plugs are easy as hell on these motors. i pretty much changed my plugs ever other oil change.

also, copper plugs are better for a performance application and do a good job at reducing knock in comparision to other plugs. that is why i said if youre going to beat your car run copper.
