Guys, this has nothing to do with the GTX, but the Impala SS clone I am working with. Its getting painted this weekend and for 2 months now I have been set on a two-tone black and slate grey combo. However I seen a pic of one and now I really dont like it. The big thing is picking a color that matches the wheels I have for it. Here is the car and wheels,

I was thinking black, dark blue, or a red...I am so flustered and its only a few days to choose. I would ask an Impala forum but have of them are tryin to make donks and crazy retarded crap. I want a nice american muscle look. Please any thoughts are appreciated.
 


Ive always like those cars in black. no other color really seems to go well on that car IMO... but looking at the pics you posted im thinking a dark gunmetal with black accents might look badass. do you have any other pics like maybe a side shot that i can play around with in photoshop with for you?
 
Did you center the rear axle?

Ever think of using Holden colors? They have their color palatte online at HSV.AU.COM
 
im sorry but gray and black would look fan-f***-ing-tastic ive always wanted one of those a guy had one for ten grand but it was a little out of my range :(

I have not seen those before where did you find them?
My car is Ivory, I had an SE before and it was dark metalic blue with tinted windows and it was pretty. Chicks loved that car.
If my car was dark I would consider the dark metalic blue but it's not so when I do repaint I'm thinking the pearl white that Cadillac used a year or two ago.
Dark blue thats the ticket with those wheels....Bad A$$
 


How about a really deep cherry red?? Just a thought. I saw a grandam with black rims and cherry over black base. Looked stellar.

Guys I want to thank you and after hours of research I found these. Imagine just the color with the wheels I posted earlier(the black one has almost identical wheels minus the rivets) What do you guys think:
