PICTURES: 97-03 CCFL Halo Projector Headlights Black by Spyder Auto

These are the headlights I got after the LED halos (other thread) and what I currently have on my car.
Much better build quality in comparison, offers angle adjustment which the LED halos did not. Much better grommets and rubber stripping. The CCFL Halos are considerably brighter and much close to white in color, which is what I was looking for. The mounting brackets (at least on my pair) are very brittle, I broke one and had to improvise. Be certain to use many washers and you should be ok!!!

Pictures of LED Halo Projectors I had

Hope these help you decide.

The headlight is upside-down in these pictures

These actually have the insertion tab like the stock ones do and decent rubber stripping.

The brackets aren't interchangeable.

And I agree with you realdiehl, they should be better quality in performance and build for what they cost.

i had them for a short time. Brighter? yes. Build quality? could have been done better.

also, they looked like hell on my car

I had the original LED one's. I did like the light output with HIDs in them. Definitley better than the stockers. In the end I went back to oem headlights as the stock lights still look better. Plus I got tired of all of the bouncing even with all of the fix it threads that are on this forum and the large gaps. Quality wise, I would have to agree. They are not the best. They began to haze and the coating on the lens flaked off not even a year into owning them. Same goes for the bracket. It it is broken beyond repair then the lights are useless.

so why couldnt we have had a comparison thread all in one instead of making two threads about nearly the same subject? just because they arent exactly the same doesnt mean the deserve their own threads.

i applaud your efforts and ill leave it alone.

I made two threads in an attempt to make Google searches more precise for those trying to find pictures.

Swiggles, haha... we have something in common there.

Where did you get these halos? Im looking at some on ebay but I like yours because the corners where the turn light are is black. I can't tell from the ebay pics and yours are what I want

i have the exact same ones i got them off ebay, and you just have to look at the pics, if the corners are not black they are sliver and you should be able to see that in the pics very well

thanks for the help. do you remeber what the name of the person or company you got them from? or just if you see any that have black all the way around?

No those aren't it. They're probably just out of stock.. I would send them a message and see when they'll get them back in.
