• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Photoshopping?

On the "other side" i was doing alot of Photoshopping for wheels and signatures and such, and i dont see a large demand here... YET... but i was curious if others felt, a photoshop sub-forum would be good? or atleast a sticky in a certain section so that it can be easily referenced, and keep all PS questions in one location.

In I as well as others, could handle photoshop requests for their cars, signatures, avatars. u name it...

just a thought?
 


I think it's a great idea. I suggested this in the ClubGP "Forum Ideas" section before I got banned and a few people seemed to think it would be a good idea too. And since then there have been wayyyy more photoshop requests.
 
I think it would be a nice idea. I wonder if requests here are lower because we dont have such an area. We'll have to see about it, if there is enough support for it we can certainly add it.
 
Is that where you can see what something looks like on your car before you do it? If so, I'm all for it. I am a visual person!
 
I think that is a great suggestion! I've had many times I wanted some PS work, but didn't want to bother you or others. That would be a place to at least let you know we would like your help or post pics, etc. Always liked your skills and response time over on CGP.
 


I vote yes as well, It is great help in decision making to be able to see the finished project before any cash is thrown down... and I've seen some awesome PS skills on this and the other board

thanks jason, yea me and nick had a pretty large post going at CGP but it kinda fell off because we both got busy, others stepped up, but it kinda fell off... and dont worry about bothering, if u OR ANYONE else has a request, just hit me up, ill either do it then, or reply and tell u its a busy time currently, but i will get it done to teh best of my ability


i think it would be a good asset here...

nah its nothing like that. so many people have helped me throughout the years, that this is one way i can help out others, kinda like -pay-it-forward-. If it werent for many people i probably wouldnt have my GP anymore. but because of others knowledge and willingness to help, i still got my joy.

post up a few pics, and ill try and make u something. if u have any idea for background, text to be on it (ie mods, username, etc.) or any ideas u want it to look like post those too...

ill see what i can do...
 
this was a real quick PS for someone i did recently on another forum...

he wanted the new GPO Grill inserts and his fascia in a silver, so i added those and added silver accents in the hood inlets...

just to give you guys an idea of things that can be done. this is just one thing of many... wheels can be added... sometimes hoods, if u can find a pic of ur car, and the car with the hood u want at the same angle works best...

but some where asking exactly what photoshop is, so here is the last example i did...

I'm gonna agree with this one too . i think there should be a photoshop sticky, maybe even sub forum. I would almost vote for a sub forum do to so many different things dealing with photoshop. one tread would become trashed way too fast.
 
yea a subforum would be nice like u said, but i would even be content with a sticky at the top of a certain area... just so its all in one place...
 


Yea if anyone flipping through need something done, shoot me a PM too and ill do my best. Im gonna be pretty busy these next 2 weeks but after that i should be good for when ever.
