PFYC SD Ram Air Hood (What to do in Winter)

Anyone out there have this hood? She is going on my ol' lady tonight and I am concerned that in winter, sludge will build up since I sometimes park outside where it snows. Do you think I should install some blank grills to stop the sludge/snow/water from building up? I have yet to see the hood in person so I have no idea how that all works. Is there a drainage area for crap like that?

Anyone?

i think youll be just fine with the hood as is. you really dont need to worry about anything going into the hood vents because it's going to happen regardless of what you do. a drip tray wouldnt be a bad idea, but i havent seen any on any other hood than the special edition hood with the heat extractors.

got the sd hood on gf gp. ran it on there last winter, only thing is snow/ice built up around the ram air & heat extractors due to engine heating/cooling/heating/cooling. it was a pita to keep the ice off it......... and we both know how wi winters are: YUCK

def the best appearance mod tho.... go for it, just keep it clean

You should be fine, worst comes to worst put in a drip tray. Definitely go for it though it's a sexy hood.

like whats stated above, i get snow through the back of the heat exchangers but other then that really nothing. they are nice looking
