PDF manual needed for removing the dash

Hi, can anybody help me by providing the instructions/ preferably a PDF downloadable file manual for removing the entire dash assembly for a 2002 Grand Prix GT- I need to replace my dash, I spoke with my mechanic who told me this is a 10 hour ordeal- so it will cost a bit...If this can be done by a non mechanic- like me- is it possible??? I was told that there are many, many wires- connections as well the entire steering column has to be dropped down and removed?????? My passenger side air bag cover was damaged, air bag is NOT blown, so far I have 3 options...1- buy a used complete dash and remove/ replace 2- buy a used airbag unit which apparently comes with the cover- this I don't understand as it doesn't look like the cover is really a part of the air bag anyways??? It seems to be attached to the dash??? 3- buy a used/ aftermarket air bag cover from the U.S on ebay and simply OR NOT SO SIMPLY take apart my current dash which is in very good shape- mint actually...and replace the damaged cover with the new one- however I have NOOOOO idea what I'm doing, what to pull/ pry/ unscrew/ unplug- any help/ advice is much appreciated. I seen an earlier post on here from another member who was mentioning he had a PDF manual for removing the dash assembly- please reply anyone

Thanx :)

If the pad on the pass side is just damaged and nothing else is on the dash just replace the pad itself. Call a junk yard and ask, alot easier than replacing your whole dash
