PCM = hard shifts. normal?

I installed my Intense pcm a couple days ago, and I noticed that my car is shifting very hard regardless of throttle position. also, on the freeway, if i let off the gas and coast, the car shifts out of OD into third, then as soon as I press the gas again to maintain speed, itll shift back into OD very rough. is this normal?? thanks guys
 


Sometimes a change in the pcm trans settings will take a while for the car to get used to, or for you to get used to. I would drive it another day and see if the issue persists, but from the sounds of it, it is not supposed to be shifting to 3rd while coasting...
 
yeah the intense one has several paramters changed. like said above it takes a bit for the "adaptive learning" to learn how you drive. It might take a week or more of driving for it to calm down a bit. mine would slip in gear and sucked at shifting at first but after i think 2 weeks it would shift just right at wot and around town. And the shifts are going to be harder and quicker.

ill have to see if mine does the same thing or not with it going out of od like that whats the speed it does that at?
 
pretty much anytime i'm in overdrive itll do it. but usually on the interstate im goin about 70 or so. i have noticed sometimes it doesnt shift hard. for the first 10 minutes or so its really smooth but seems to get worse the longer i drive. wierd.
