PassLock/VATS security system



Flashing security light. Had 2 non GM garages hook up with hand held computer. Have tried resetting. Neither could figure it out. Could be ignition or security module. Too expensive to take it to GM. Now, how do you know it can't be disabled? Tx.
 
Because you'd need a BCM that wasn't programmed to look for the correct resistance. And those don't exist. If everything is working normally, besides the blinking light, just remove the bulb for the security light and call it a day.
