Passenger floor wet when it rains..05 GT

Just wondering if anyone can help me out. This is for the gfs brothers 2005 grand prix. There is some damage on the door frame that looks like it has been repaired and the repair is good, but im thinking it might not be sealing very good? Isnt that door seal more for wind noise, and the inner seal all the way around the door opening for water? I noticed the seal that is on the door has a small tear in the middle of it, but i dont think thats the problem..

When it rained the other day, he said there was standing water on the passenger floor in front and back..where could it be coming from? a bad door seal would make it leak i would think, but not that bad? Im trying to find a new seal just to go from there and see..any help or things to look for would be great.

had the same problem after a windshield install on my car. the guy forgot to put the trim piece for my cabin air filter which is located under the cowl. basically water was coming in from the blower motor and onto my floor.

i've attached a diagram to kinda show ya where it's at. might be a place to start. but if it JUST started leaking it's probably not this as it WILL leak at all times with the cover missing. the cover would be the thing thats not the filter in this pic fyi.

to get at it you have to take the wiper arms off, then the entire cowl. it's pretty straight forward. just be careful with the clips that hold the cowl on.

thanks man..i will check it out this weekend..he thinks its from when the heat turns on, but that could be him turning the blower motor on and it leaking or something...ill keep you updated..It may also be the heater core..the coolant is kind of murky, so im gonna get it flushed and see if that helps..
