Part # for cv axle shaft - 2006 grand prix gxp?

Anyone know the universal part # for a front passengers side CV axle on a Grand Prix GXP? I'm confused on which I need to buy to replace it. Also, Auto Zone told me there was a 33mm nut or 34 mm nut but they didn't know which I needed.

Does the 5.3L fit the same CV axle as the 3.8L?

I don't think there is a universal part number, each brand has its own part number. And each side is different. What side do you need? Stay away from the stock replacement ones I hear they are mostly trash, try to get the remans. And I am pretty sure it should be 34mm, but I could be wrong.
 
A 34mm works on a 33 with a problem. I use a 36 to take off 35's all the time.

You have a 4T65e HD trans, just tell them you need the passenger side axle. There are 2 different part numbers because the non HD axle is a different length. Any parts store worth a damn with a somewhat smart parts counter guy will get you the right part.
