Painting stock grill

Im am just wondering if anyone has ever painted the stock grill a different color and how it came out??

I've painted a set before, just sand it and then spray it with the color. It'll be fine.

if you use krylon fusin paint it wil work great. it bonds to the plastic

OK I ended up using graphite wheel paint and it came out good..nothing to noticeable but i nice subtle change...Thanks guys

those grills came out better than I expected, very nice man

I'll have to do that next. Saves me $60 bucks for those rip off of inserts...

You can also tape off the whole front of the piece and spray from the back. It will leave the front edge black and the inside edges the new color. I did this at first but the difference between the graphite and black was too subtle to notice, it would look good if you were color matching it to the car imo.

I 2nd that. Make sure to hit it with some clear as well.
