The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
lol well i almost got it done. ran into a problem though.
damn bumper cracked a little bit at the existing crack while i was trying to line it up on the car. so in a panic and since idk how to fix body work, i sand it down and placed more epoxy, then sanded it down, tapes around, primed it, sprayed paint, then added clear, and then when i took the tape off, you can see the lines from the tape. i thought a scratch fix pen would work so i just bought one and it still looks like sh*t.
oh well i guess it looks better than all the scratches and scrapes i had, i can deal with that minor f*ck up on the front.
is there a way i can just sand that spot back down and get it all flush, then tape off half the bumper far away from the bad spot, and just kinda shoot that one small spot with some paint, then some clear or will it look uneven?
my problem before is that i taped off AROUND the small area i needed to repaint, and i think i painted too thick as well because there's orange peel, and it looks thicker, and theres lines from the tape - looks almost like a rectangle.
You could do that, but if sanding it flush doesn't take off the base coat, then just spray some clear and try to feather in the edges. When it dries, hit it with 2000 or higher grit sandpaper just to even out the feathering and buff.
